By using Aldwell you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

Estimates are not quotes

AI-generated cost ranges are estimates only, drawn from public pricing references and our internal database. Actual prices depend on contractor inspection, materials, labour, and local market rates. Always confirm pricing with a licensed contractor before committing to work.

AI limitations

Our AI can only analyze visible damage in the photos you upload. It cannot detect hidden damage behind walls, floors, ceilings, or under finishes. It may misidentify the repair type, severity, or cost, especially in low-light, blurry, or unusual photos. You are responsible for verifying the analysis before acting on it.

Contractors are independent

When the contractor marketplace launches, contractors who quote on jobs are independent third parties. Aldwell is not a party to any work agreement between you and a contractor and is not responsible for the quality, safety, licensing, or insurance status of any contractor's work. Verify credentials before hiring.

Acceptable use

• Don't upload photos showing other people's faces, government IDs, financial documents, or other sensitive material.
• Don't use the service to harass, defraud, or impersonate.
• Don't scrape, abuse rate limits, or attempt to extract our prompts or data.

Account suspension

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that abuse the AI scan feature.

Liability

Aldwell is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the prior 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
